FROM FRESH SEASONAL FOODS, TYPICAL OF THE ISTRIAN AREA, WE PREPARE DISHES THAT PRESERVE THE FLAVORS OF CHARACTERISTIC ISTRIAN CUISINE AND MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE, AND WE COMBINE TRADITIONALLY AND MODERN. WE ARE GUIDED BY THE MOTIVE OF PRESERVING TRADITION BUT IN MODERN WAZY AND WE FOLLOW THE DEMANDS AND STANDARDS OF OUR CONTEMPORARY GUEST.
Since we opened the door to Restaurante Orca, we want our guests to feel like at home, and enjoy the family atmosphere of the restaurateur led by the Hrvatin family, with the help of their children and valuable staff. We consider our staff as a jewel of restaurant, so most of them have been employed for 10 to 26 years, talking about quality and atmosphere in the restaurant itself.
The specialties of the house are pasta with lobster, plukanci (pasta) Orca mare monti, crustacean fillets with truffles, fish in salt, and fish and meat under lid.
At our restaurant you can get fresh shellfish, real Adriatic fish and shrimps, and we offer you raw specialties such as fish carpaccio, raw shrimps, raw shells. We also offer fresh fish under the lid, in the oven, and grilled.
We offer you indigenous Istrian pasta (tagliatelle, fuži, gnocchi, pljukanci or frisky and ravioli stuffed in many ways), the rice made from seasonal foods such as wild asparagus, various forest mushrooms and fresh truffles.
Favorite desserts from our offer are: all kinds of pancakes, various homemade pies, panacota, Orca fruit cup, ice cream.
