The monkfish is a type of fish that has earned numerous nicknames because of its not so beautiful appearance: frog, sea devil and even werewolf. The mouth is enormously large in relation to the body, and there are a large number of wens on it.

But when it comes to its flavor combined with vegetables, there’s no better choice for this summer! Many say that the meat of this fish is similar to the meat of lobster. White, juicy, tasty meat and very few bones make it one of the tastiest fish on the Adriatic Sea.
